Hello, and welcome! I am Mary. I’m glad you’re here and I hope to get to know you better and share some of my stories and maybe some wisdom. 

I write greeting cards and have done so for decades. You might’ve read some of my work. I happily raised three biological children and two stepdaughters. I was the fifth of eight children. I grew up in Georgia with my family.

I have been married twice in my life. The first one didn’t last long but gave me two children. The second lasted forty years. But sadly, he passed away two weeks after my mother.

I am writing this blog to help my family heal, and future generations can avoid some of the mistakes that I made.

The purpose of my blog is to end secrets by making the private public. Now, I just want to share my story and the stories of my family, who can’t always speak up for themselves. I hope that my words bring healing to those of you who are going through the same thing.

I’ll share some personal stories of my life that are not always pretty. My story of surviving abuse but I promise that it won’t all be sad stories. But it has also been about learning to survive through it all and come out on the other side a stronger person. If I can help one person, it will all be worth it.

I’ll talk about how a computer changed my life. I’ll tell you how I found my spark and started writing greeting cards and still do today.

They’ll be some fun stories about online dating and some things I did from my bucket list. I have so many things that  I look forward to sharing with you.
